Sony will be releasing a two 15 inch WEGA LCD TVs called the “KLV-15SP2” and “KLV-15AP2.” Both use 640 x 480 panels, and should cost no more than 67,000 yen. The “Memo” feature enables you to do a sort of “freeze frame” for live TV programs (while the program continues in the background), presumably so you can take a memo. Since a 15″ TV could very likely end up in the kitchen, this Memo function could be nice, for example, when cooking programs display lists of ingredients.
