After Netflix dropped just one episode of Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in March and then went radio silent about when the rest would air, fans (rightfully) flipped their lids. The streamer clarified a few weeks later that the episodes in the second part, or “stage,” of the series would release weekly in Fall 2026 and claimed that the unusual—to put it nicely—structure was totally intentional and actually what the production team wanted all along (sure, Jan).

Maybe Netflix has finally realized just how badly it botched the initial release because they’re being a lot clearer this time around. At the Steel Ball Run panel at Anime Expo 2026, the streamer revealed that stages two and three would release consecutively, with all 11 episodes airing weekly beginning September 25. They also dropped a new trailer, which you can watch below.

The show’s X account also dropped some new character art and revealed the new Japanese voice actors. Tomoaki Maeno will voice Mountain Tim, Tomokazu Sugita will voice Funny Valentine, and Yoko Hikasa will voice Hot Pants. You can see the new characters below.

The official logline for the series reads:

A desert crossing spanning roughly 750 miles—the land that Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli must make their way through, is home to the dreaded area known as the “Devil’s Palm.”

As ominous incidents begin to unfold, they are forced to realize that this race is far more than a mere competition.

The two press forward into the 2nd STAGE, where countless hidden motives collide.

Why Netflix decided to bundle stages two and three together is unclear, but at least we won’t have to worry about the show’s future anymore.
