There were so many callbacks to the first Jurassic Park movie in this year’s sequel Jurassic World, it was practically a remake. Don’t believe me? Check out this collection of the many, many World scenes which channeled specific moments from the original Park.
Surely a lot of them are coincidences—I mean, I can’t imagine the fact that someone used binoculars in World was a deliberate homage to someone using binoculars in Park—but there are still a tons of shots, references and entire scenes designed solely to evoke the first beloved movie. Which is probably why Jurassic World made a zillion, billion dollars.
