Starting his career in entertainment journalism joining io9 in 2014 as an intern, and then a staff writer shortly thereafter, he's now been writing at the site for over 10 years, with areas of expertise including Doctor Who, comics, games, Star Trek, and having way too many thoughts about Star Wars. When not explaining some esoteric lore about a Star-based franchise or comic book character online, James spends his time playing too many JRPGs and MMOs, taking elaborate photos of action figures, and building Gundam model kits.
