Remember “Beast Jesus”? How could you forget that face? In 2012, this amazingly terrible (and unauthorized) restoration job applied to a 19th-century Spanish fresco by elderly Cecilia Giménez made instant headlines and launched a thousand memes.

One year later, the painting —”originally named Ecce Homo (Behold the Man) but now widely known as Ecce Mono (Behold the Monkey), per The Week — was still luring tourists who wished to gaze upon its unforgettable visage to tiny Borja, Spain.

Two years later, the Daily Mail reports, the spell has yet to be broken.

But since the makeover, the restoration has attracted 150,000 tourists from all over the world, with people paying one euro to view the “masterpiece.”

And the magical effect of Beast Jesus doesn’t end there:

Her handiwork has seen Giménez commissioned to design logos for the local winery, and the image of the new ‘face of Jesus’ adorns the town of 5,000’s lottery tickets.
