QuickPlayer from QuickPlayMedia is an upcoming app for BlackBerry devices that allow streaming internet audio from premium channel content provided by QuickPlay. Sounds interesting. There’s ABC News, Entertainment, Business, MarketWatch, the WSJ, local news headlines, Accuweather and a BlackBerry podcast. There’s twenty channels in all, available for streaming on an EDGE connection as long as you have reasonable reception.
No availability info yet, but we’ll keep you updated. We know cubicle monkeys everywhere are dying to get some sort of entertainment content on their BlackBerries.
