Supermarket carrier Tesco Mobile polled 4,000 people, and found that while the wheel, aeroplane, light bulb, internet, PCs, telephone and penicillin were worthy of being in the top seven spaces of the list, the iPhone came eighth—-ahead of the flushing toilet at nine, fridge at 14, and cars at 19.
