I am basically in stuttering awe of Jeffrey Lau‘s forthcoming scifi romantic comedy, Metallic Attraction: Kung Fu Cyborg. It has everything – even hopping vampires!
In fact, according to Twitchfilm:
It appears the design on this robot is based off the Jiang Shi, the long-robed, hopping Chinese vampires popularized in the 80’s classic Mr. Vampire series.
That’s even more obvious when you look at the concept art pictured at right. (For more concept art, check this out.) The movie hits theaters in China in August, and has been picked up for North American distribution. No word on when we’ll see it in the West.
