First Suicide from the Tallest Building in the World [WARNING: STRONG IMAGES]

Well, it had to happen sooner or later: Someone just jumped off the 147th floor of the Burj Khalifa—shown in the picture above—the tallest building in the world, and killed himself. WARNING: STRONG IMAGE AHEAD.

The man—Asian and 30 years old—jumped from an air vent at the observation deck this afternoon, crashing on the terrace of floor 108. He hit some metal barriers, killing him instantly, as the gruesome photo shows.

Police sources say that the man worked at the tower and had previously asked for vacation days that were denied by his employer.
