We’ve seen Harrison Ford as Col. Graff, the Battle School logos and the cafeteria, but this new movie poster finally reveals our first look at the Battle Room! In the window, you can see Ender’s classmates shooting lasers at each other, as they float through the zero-G space amongst the immobile “star” blocks that they use for cover and tactical advantage. Looks pretty accurate visualization of the original book to me.
I’m not sure why Ender is standing outside the Battle Room, other than to strike a badass pose for the movie poster, but I like to imagine he had to take a hall pass to go use the bathroom, and now he has to wait for the current game to be over before he’s let back in.
