Leaked photos of Samsung's Nexus S have appeared on XDA Developers' forums, and it looks to be running Android 2.3, aka Gingerbread, as we'd heard previously.

Purported specs are said to include a 4-inch screen (maybe even a Super Amoled 2 panel?) with 800 x 480 resolution, an ARMV7 CPU, and the ability to shoot video in 720p. There are more photos over on XDA's site, so why don't you ch-ch-ch-check them out and tell us wh-wh-what's it all about. [XDA Developers via SlashGear]
DISCUSSION
Is it only me, or does anyone else read Nexus S as Nexus Suck?
I really have nothing against Nexus phones and I have no reason to believe that this won't be a great phone.
But for some reason I have a hard time believing that Samsung will do this phone right. Maybe I am biased, but HTC should be the only people to make Nexus series phones.
