It’s been well established that all wildlife Down Under has probably escaped from an undiscovered portal to the Land of the Lost. This latest catch only lends further credence to this truth.

Meet Claude, a 15-pound juvenile Tasmanian giant crab (Pseudocarcinus gigas) who’s recently taken up residence in a 10-foot-tall, six-foot-wide cylindrical aquarium in the United Kingdom. Claude’s smaller claw can sever a human finger, and he’s estimated to max out at 30 pounds of crustacean juggernaut. Reality is now officially a Roger Corman movie.
