NEC has a new model in their VALUESTAR W line of desktop PCs with an integrated 26″ display, called the “VW900/CD.” Its 26″ display has a resolution of 1360 x 768 (which is actually crappy when you think about it), but there’s another thing that has my palms all sweaty. The VW900/CD features a hardware TV function called “VISITAL-LIVE” for viewing TV without turning the PC on. Its other specifications aren’t too impressive, as these days it is commonplace to see consumer-level machines including 300GB hard drives and interfaces aplenty.
