Sadly, Abrams didn’t hire a robotic police officer for his personal use (presumably for security against from the frothing fanboys screaming about the anticipated amount of lens flares in Star Trek Into Darkness), but for his as-yet-untitled cop-and-robot-cop drama for Fox. Michael Ealy, whose had stints on The Good Wife and Californication, has taken the role of the android cop, who will be paired with the less-than-robot-friendly human cop, who hasn’t been cast yet. The show will be produced by Fringe’s J.H. Wyman. Do you think the android cop might teach the human cop a little something about what it means to be human? I think he just might!
