Lenovo announced its ThinkCentre A60, billing it as the first ThinkCenter offering AMD processors. And quite a variety there are, with AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processors, AMD Athlon 64 and AMD Sempron chips all among the choices for this low-cost line of desktops.
Perhaps feeling the pre-heat from tomorrow's impending torrent of introductions featuring Intel's Core 2 Duo (Conroe) processors, Lenovo is getting these AMD processors and introductions out of the way, because tomorrow (July 27) any processor that's not from Intel will be yesterday's news. This one has "fire sale" written all over it.
