Panasonic will be releasing what very well could be the world’s first ceramic kiln that connects to a PC. I say “could be” because I don’t exactly keep up with the latest trends in the cut-throat kiln industry.

What business does a kiln have being connected to your PC, anyway? Well, the “Microwave Ceramic Kiln,” which actually does use microwaves, will report the baking mode, temperature, time, and any errors that arise. Also, Panasonic claims the new kiln is the industry’s first to feature a drying function, reducing the 10 day long natural drying time of ceramics to a mere 6 hours.
