The Monty Python lads are gearing up for their upcoming live stage show, and as a tease, they’ve released the uptempo anti-authoritarian anthem “The Silly Walks Song,” along with a video that celebrates decades of goofy Python imagery.
Although it makes sense that the video teasing the reunion show—which they are calling Monty Python Live (Mostly)—is filled with scenes from classic Python sketches and movies, hopefully we’ll see some fresh visuals come out of the stage show. “The Silly Walks Song” was written specifically for the reunion, so it’s likely that they’ve got more new material in store. It’s all happening at the O2 Peninsula Square in London this July—and the crew has released tickets for the final show.
