You wait so long for an Ellen Ripley figure that actually has Sigourney Weaver's likeness, and two come along at once! NECA have unveiled their next wave of Alien toys, and that recently revealed Power Loader is going to get a Ripley to go with it.
Although only shown as a prototype sculpt, there was a painted version of the figure shown at New York Toyfair earlier this month, but at least we get to see the sculpt in close detail. Aside from looking pretty much like Sigourney Weaver, the new Ripley will come with a pulse rifle and a flamethrower to hunt down the plastic alien hordes. Ripley will be joined by two previously released 'Genocide' Aliens, seen below, as well as a torn-in-half version of Bishop. So you don't feel too bad about buying literally half an action figure, Bishop will come with an opened Alien egg and a facehugger. But really, the star of the show is the new Ripley, who even unpainted looks rather wonderful.
Expect wave 5 of NECA's alien toys to hit shops in Summer, retailing for around $20 each.
