Zack Snyder might be looking for one of the stars of his last superhero movie to play the Man of Steel. Michael Caine lays out the rough schedule for The Dark Knight Rises. Darren Aronofsky talks The Wolverine. Spoilers alive!
Superman Reboot
Zack Snyder may be looking to a familiar face to play Superman — he reportedly wants Matthew Goode, who played Ozymandias in Watchmen, to take on the role. The same sources behind this rumor claim that Snyder plans to build the Superman costume partly using CGI, similar to Ryan Reynolds's Green Lantern costume. Take both of these with a grain of salt for now, although both at least seem vaguely reasonable based on Snyder's tendencies to reuse actors, and use a lot of CGI. [MovieNewz]
The Dark Knight Rises
The ever talkative Michael Caine lays out the filming schedule as he understands it:
"Emma [Thomas], the producer, said we'd get the script in January. Christopher said: ‘Script in January, shoot in May, finish in November.'"
Meanwhile, at least one actor is ready to start begging for a role in Christopher Nolan's movie. Sorcerer's Apprentice actress Teresa Palmer, who was set to play Talia al Ghul in George Miller's abandoned Justice League movie, says she's actively lobbying for a role, though she's realistic about her chances:
"I've definitely put the feelers out there with my agents and that would be something I would be really glad to have happen. I doubt I would be one of the actresses high up on Nolan's list. I think they are definitely going after woman with a much bigger profile than [mine]."

Green Lantern
The close reading of the trailer continues, as a new theory suggests it is the Parallax entity itself that causes Abin Sur to crash. Previous theories had suggested a Parallax-infested Krona was responsible, but this ascribes Parallax an even more active role. Check out the link for the frames that may (or may not) support this particular notion. [ComicBookMovie]
Thor
Natalie Portman explains her character of Alice Foster, who in the movie is a scientist exploring just what sort of being Thor really is. She also thinks this is a step up from her comics interpretation of a nurse:
She's a very serious scientist. Because in the comic she's a nurse and now they made her an astrophysicist. Really, I know it sounds silly, but it is those little things that makes girls think it's possible. It doesn't give them a [role] model of ‘Oh, I just have to dress cute in movies.'"

Aquaman
According to Alan Ritchson, who plays the character on Smallville, there are real plans for an Aquaman movie. Of course, it's an open question how much he would actually know about the status of such a project. Either way, he says that because water is so expensive to shoot, an Aquaman project will only ever be a movie, not a TV show. For his part, he says he would like to be involved, in theory. Fringe

Olivia searches for an ally; a device that can bridge the communication gap between universes is discovered by the Fringe team.
The Walking Dead
Michael Rooker discusses whether his character Merle is still around, and what presence he'll have in the next episode:
Well [laughs]…You can't assume anything. We left Merle with a small portion of his anatomy still hanging out there on the roof. We'll catch up to the rest of him one of these days, I'm almost sure of it. I think audiences will know my presence. I'm around. [Laughs.] I think there's going to be a reveal in the next episode. Obviously part of me is there, and needless to say my brother is a wee bit upset. They expected to find me there and I'm not. I don't wait for anyone. This guy has been doing things alone all his life.

The Event
The mid-season finale will reveal a lot about Sophia's people, as well as introduce a new alien played by Necar Zadegan who challenges Sophia for control. The other plots will see the president deal with a military crisis and Sam and Leila keep searching for Samantha, which leads Leila to a (yet another) big revelation about one of the characters. In the premiere episode, Robin, Speedy, Aqualad and Kid Flash are finally granted access to the headquarters of the Justice League. Smallville
We've got a lengthy synopsis, trailer, and a bunch of awesome photos for the alternate universe episode "Luthor", featuring the return of John Glover as Lionel Luthor: [Comic Book Resources]
Tess (Cassidy Freeman) acquires a Kryptonian box that once belonged to Lionel Luthor (John Glover). When Clark (Tom Welling) accidentally activates the box, he's transported to a parallel universe where Lionel found Clark in the cornfields instead of the Kents. In this universe, Clark Luthor is a murderer and Lois (Erica Durance) is engaged to Oliver (Justin Hartley) and both of them hate Clark. Clark must be careful not to tip off Lionel that he's not his son while trying to figure out how to get back to Earth where the monster Clark Luthor was transported in his place.
And here's the synopsis for the upcoming "Icarus":
HAWKMAN AND STAR GIRL RETURN! - The VRA is in full effect and things take an unfortunate turn of events after the Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) tries to stop a mugging but is attacked by citizens for being a super hero. Clark (Tom Welling) discovers that the civilians who attacked Oliver were all marked with a darkness tattoo. Carter Hall (guest star Michael Shanks) and Star Girl (guest star Britt Irvin) return to help Clark deal with Slade's (guest star Michael Hogan) re-emergence after he kidnaps Lois (Erica Durance).
Cassidy Freeman also stars.
