If you’re thinking about picking up a tablet, especially for school, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 just got a little bit better. The tablet’s Student Edition Bundle is on sale today until September 1st for $250.

The student edition package includes a white version of the 8GB Galaxy Tab 2.0 running Android 4.0 but the real bonus is the peripherals. The package also comes with a keyboard dock and a USB adapter that’ll let students use jump-drives, mice, and other USB devices you could expect to use with a laptop. No 4G though, Student Edtion models are all wi-fi only.

It’s not quite as up-to-date or as cheap as say, the Nexus 7 or as plain-old sweet as the new iPad, but depending on what you’re looking for in your tablet experience, this could be right for some students. It really depends on how important and useful that keyboard dock sounds. If it sounds like something you’d be into, you can pick it up at your local Best Buy, Tiger Direct, Fry’s Electronics, Amazon, or Costco. [Engadget]
