Panasonic will release three new single-DIN receivers on April 10th in Japan, one of which is the “CD-C7301D.” Besides playing MP3 and WMA files from CD-R/RW, the display can be customized: you can select 9,261 possible color settings by adjusting blue, red and green channels independently of each other. Furthermore, you can also create startup and shutdown graphics/animations for the unit using some software available on Panasonic’s website and load them via CD. My dream of having a receiver that says “LOWTAX” every time I turn it on can finally come true!
