You probably haven’t heard too much about Pantech, unless you follow phones from Asia, but at CES, the company finally showed some phones it will be producing just for the US. There’ won’t be a Pantech logo on these entry level phones, but they’ll be available from Verizon. The PN-215 is a very basic camera phone and the PN-210 is even more basic (if you can believe it), with nothing more than instant messaging, a speakerphone function and voice dialing. And of course, replacements for both of these phones are already on the horizon. Look for the PN-310 and the PN-315 soon enough. The PN-320 was also shown, which is a slim, clamshell RAZR-y kind of model and by the second half of the year, expect some EVDO phones.
