Some super lucky people win cars, and some win money, while the rest of us are happy to win a jar of jellybeans for guessing how many there are. And then there’s this guy: “Pedro” from Brazil (the only information given about him) won a trip to space today, and all he had to do was guess how high in the atmosphere a balloon got before it burst.

As part of Dutch airline KLM’s promotional campaign for their upcoming commercial space tourism expansion, the company released a high altitude balloon yesterday morning and invited would-be astronauts to take a guess at what its apex was. Pedro apparently got closest to guessing the official 31 KM figure, so he’ll get to take the hour-long trip on January 1, 2014 to the edge of space, approximately 64 miles above Earth. Jealousy…

Don’t worry though, after Pedro and Richard Branson christen private space tourism in a few months, you’ll be able to experience it for yourself—if you have a lot of money. Pedro’s free excursion is worth $95,000. [KLM, Telegraph.co.uk]
