DC Comics—publishers of Batman and Superman—has forbidden the lesbian marriage of Batwoman and her girlfriend Maggie, resulting in the resignation of the comicbook’s creative team. It’s a bizarre move, since their relationship has been explicit for a long time.
Apparently, DC Comics thinks that lesbian relationships are ok, but it’s not ok for them to marry. Marvel Comics, on the other hand, recently got a gay marriage on the cover of the X-Men.
