The new speaker measures 156 x 66 x 50 mm and weighs 392g. (The Jambox measures 151 x 57 x 40 mm and weighs 347g). It features Bluetooth connectivity and and aux-in port. (The Jambox features Bluetooth connectivity and an aux-in port.) It comes in red, blue, black and silver. (The Jambox comes in red, blue, black and silver—and a bunch more, actually.) It looks practically identical to a Jambox. (A Jambox looks like a Jambox.)

OK, so there are some differences: you can pair a device to the Level Box mini using NFC, it boasts 10 hours more playback time than Jawbone's offering, and it sounds like it nicer with phone calls and the like, too. But still, it does look like a Jambox. (See below for reference). Availability and pricing are as yet unannounced, but here's an alternative in the meantime. [Samsung via Verge]

Oh im sorry I was unaware that Jamebox had the copyright on colored rectangular boxes. You better go inform literally every other company in the fucking world. There is no lawsuit here. They are both rectangles because that the logical shape to put a speaker, and just about any other electronic/anything, in. This is not a story.
