When I recently re-tested NordVPN, I was in shock at what I saw. A new app, new plans, and definitely my favorite: a new antivirus upgrade. Threat Protection Pro, as NordVPN calls it on desktop platforms, is a beast. As confirmed by AV-Comparatives, it detects 96% of phishing attempts, making it one of the leading cybersecurity suites currently available.
But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. NordVPN’s Complete plan has now dropped by 75%, with 3 free months, and a silly price (I really mean it) of $4.49 per month. Here’s what you stand to enjoy if you get NordVPN’s new deal and install its revamped apps on your devices (you can protect up to 10 of them).
NordVPN Complete: 75% Off, 3 Free Months, Best Value
You don’t have to ask me twice, but even if you did, I’d say the same: NordVPN Complete is my favorite VPN suite. I say suite because for $4.49 per month, actually $121.23 for the first 27 months (paid upfront), NordVPN’s core features only make a small portion of what you’ll get. The rest of the features include:
- ID theft protection. NordVPN monitors your email, phone, SSN/ID, and credit cards to keep everything under control and tightly secure.
- Scam call protection. It’s now available on iOS and Android, and I really dig this tool, especially for inexperienced users who get scammed easily.
- Malware protection. It’s more than that, actually. NordVPN shields you from malware, ads, trackers, and malicious URLs, even including porn sites. It’s great as full-fledged parental control and virus protection.
- Password manager. NordPass; heard of it? It’s practical, easy to set up, and excellent for keeping all your passwords in one place, fully encrypted.
- 1 TB cloud storage. Easily my favorite. NordLocker. 1 TB of space. You have ample room for photos, videos, documents, and all your stuff.
All plans, including the star of today’s show, are refundable for 30 days. So all you need now is to get NordVPN (the discount is automatically applied), save over $370 from the previous price, and enjoy it.
I Tested NordVPN’s Antivirus: My Results
I tested NordVPN if you’re interested, but I don’t think it needs a special introduction. It’s fast, ready for streaming, P2P-friendly, and all you’ll ever need. What bothered me the most is if its antivirus (Threat Protection Pro) was really up to the task. I enabled it and set it for protection against malicious files, websites, ads, and trackers.

Threat Protection Pro received a score of 99% on Turtlecute’s test, and in the app, I noticed a huge list of blocked trackers on Grammarly, Reddit, Trustpilot, and even NordVPN’s own website; a commendable result. I then went to Eicar and downloaded several test files to see if I could trigger NordVPN’s malware detection algorithm. And I really did.

I downloaded all anti-malware test files. From ZIP to TXT, NordVPN warned me about them each time, offering me the option to automatically delete them. I also did this on my S26 Ultra, and malware protection immediately sprang into action. To say I’m impressed would be an understatement. NordVPN’s refreshed, next-gen antivirus truly works wonderfully.
Closing Remarks
NordVPN’s revised discounts offer a bit of something for everyone, but my final warning is that not every plan offers antivirus protection. I specifically targeted NordVPN Complete for its head-to-toe protection. But you can also get the Basic plan at about $3.49 per month and enjoy only the VPN. The top tier would be NordVPN Prime with Coveron for ID protection.
