I put a CD into a shallow dish of water to begin. As I pressed the CD down I got a thumb print on the disc which is visible in the shot. I then put a few drops of vegetable oil into the water, over top of the CD, and moved one into the shot above the thumb print.

This oil was just regular vegetable oil and I used a spray bottle to spray water in it. This was done on a glass baking dish that I put white paper under the baking dish.
