We’ve heard plenty about Logitech’s io pen, which stores whatever you write on this special paper in its 1MB of Flash memory, and then transfers it to your PC, but in this piece in the New York Times about pens that capture your handwritten notes, David Pogue mentions another pen that hasn’t gotten much attention: the Seiko Ink Link. Unlike the io, the Ink Link doesn’t require any special paper, and instead uses an ultrasonic receiver which clips to whatever it is you’re writing on, and then passes it along, instantly, to a PDA or a laptop.
