Almost every single science fiction theme that exists has received some manner of brain-detonating dancefloor remix, but one-hit wonder Mankind’s reworking of the Doctor Who theme in 1978 was actually solid. Pair it with “Doctorin’ the TARDIS” next time you invite some Ice Warriors over for, uh, Ice Warrior food.

BONUS #1: “Doctor in Distress,” the completely unlistenable charity single featuring instrumentation from none other than Hans Zimmer!

BONUS #2: Jaws funk, Alien disco, and (as a non-science-fiction bonus track I’ve been enjoying lately) the sleaziest cover of The Godfather theme ever recorded.
