The Compass Coat Guides You to Safety

From the “now-why-didn’t-I-think-of-that” department comes the compass coat, a coat that houses an integrated compass, lest you get lost in the woods again. It was designed as part of a research project that intended to get people more involved in the design process. North is indicated via this weird, plant-looking thing on the front of the coat. (Yeah, we don’t get it either.) It works because somewhere deep within the coat’s no doubt smooth as silk material are 24 electro luminescent wires that are connected to a compass sensor. While the compass coat certainly looks interesting, we can’t help but think that perhaps a regular old fashioned compass works well enough. Or failing that, a delightful trail of bread crumbs might do the trick in a pinch.
