The Last Mouse You’ll Ever Need Is Your Battlemodo-Winning Deal of the Day

Upgrading your mouse is one of the most cost-effective ways to improve your computing experience. Sure, it won’t make your old rig run faster, but it’ll add a touch of niceness to an everyday activity. Quality mice feel great—a little bit of ergonomics goes a long way. And there aren’t many mice nicer than the Logitech Performance Mouse MX. It won the Best Wireless Mouse Battlemodo, and it’s on sale on Amazon for $50 right now.

Our very own Brent Rose had a lot of good things to say about the Logitech Performance Mouse MX. He praised its smooth scroll wheel, the convenient thumb buttons, and the laser tracker that even works on any surface—even glass. He only had one gripe: “The one ding against the MX—and this is not a small one—is the price.” For Gizmodo readers today, that shouldn’t be a sticking point. Amazon’s $50 price today is half off the MSRP, and it’s at least $30 less than you can get it shipped new from other reputable retailers. It’s a great mouse, and a great deal. [Amazon]

Update 1: Amazon’s placed this deal “under review,” whatever that means. But you can still get it for $50 if you click add it to your cart from this page here.

Update 2: Looks like Amazon’s fixed the page. The mouse is now listed for $50 again.

Update 3: Looks like the deal is down again. It was too good to last. But there’s a seller on Amazon with the same mouse refurbished for $57.

Update 4: And we’re back again. Amazon’s got me feeling like a yo-yo. My advice? If you want this mouse and you’re not seeing it at $50, come back in 20 minutes. It could very well be up again.
