Swiss photographers Jojakim Cortis and Adrian Sonderegger have a really cool project called Iconen (Icons) where they make detailed scale miniatures to recreate history's most famous photos.

Isn't that how they created the original moon landing photos :p? Just kidding. These are actually fantastic. I'm curious about their materials and technique, especially for the smoke. The Hindenburg's smoke has a lot of volume.
