If you’ve ever wondered how far and wide public radio stations spread in the US, this map is for you: it shows them all, as well as how far they spread.

Put together by Andrew Filer, it uses data from Wikipedia and the station search from the Federal Communications Commission. Each circle represents a station; its size shows coverage and colors represent media outlets. So, as an example, Capital Public Radio in Northern California is available in Sacramento, Modesto, Tahoe City, and a few others. You can go explore the full map here.
