These Otterbox iPhone Cases Are Your Deal of the Day

Most of us at Gizmodo like our phones naked, but if you decide you need a case, we'll try not to judge. After all, a cracked iPhone screen is a huge pain in the ass. Not only are you going to have to spend about $100 to fix it, but you'll have to find a repair shop or deal with insurance hassles.

Folks with fumbly fingers tend to like Otterbox cases. The Otterbox Commuter in particular strikes a nice balance between protection and turning your phone into a brick. Plus, it comes in (bright!) colors, unlike the iPhone. Right now, Newegg's running a sale on iPhone 5 Otterbox Commuter cases and Amazon's doing a little price matching. This is a good deal because since you're buying the cases from Newegg or Amazon, they're not going to be fakes. Also, at under $20, you're paying half the price you'd shell out at your local Best Buy.

Note: When buying from Amazon, I'd really try to pick Amazon under "More Buying Choices" on the right side. Fake Otterbox cases do exist.

What's the difference between the Otter Box Defender and the Commuter?

(Too lazy to use the google.)
