REW DAY begins at the end of a very, very bad day for its main character, then rewinds the tape, showing us everything that went wrong from dawn until dusk. We almost feel bad for laughing so much at this fellow’s misfortunes.
Svilen Dimitrov made REW DAY with the support of the Bulgarian National Film Centre. It’s an incredibly fun approach to animated storytelling, even if it doesn’t go so well for the guy at the heart of the film.
