Cats love climbing through cozy spaces. That's why the CATable, a beautifully functional work surface with built in tunnels for burrowing, is so appealing to them. In the words of designer Ruan Hao, "It is a table for us, and a paradise for cats."

Created by the China-based LYCS architecture firm, the CATable provides pet felines with plenty of holes to explore. As Hao explains, "a properly sized hole is irresistible to cats." And so is your lunch, if you plan on using this as a dining room table. At least contraption will keep the cat time confined to one room—something that can't be said said for all cat-focused home environments.

The table was unveiled in Milan at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile earlier this month. There's no word on whether you'll ever be able to buy it, but here's to hoping. [Freshome]
