PVRblog reports that TiVo is dropping some hints at busting into the Japanese PVR market. Details are non-existent at best, but one thing is for sure: I checked the Nihon Keizai Shimbun myself (the reported source), and didn’t see jack in there about this announcement. That doesn’t mean it’s not true, though. I have a history of overlooking exceedingly important details.
This is all supposed to happen “as early as next year.”
