With the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, five-year-old Miles Scott stole our hearts when he fulfilled his dream of becoming Batman for a day. The trailer for the upcoming documentary Batkid Begins takes us behind the scenes of the day that San Francisco became Gotham City and Miles became a hero.
Batkid Begins hits theaters on June 26, and it’s clear that it’s going to be a feel-good movie with more than a few tears. After going through treatment for leukemia, Miles got his wish and got to play Batman, defeating the classic Batman villains to cheering crowds in 2013. And this documentary offers us another chance to share in the joy.
