Superhero comics are filled with aliens, talking animals, and parallel dimensions, but what if they were also filled with Muppets? Various artists imagine the meeting of Muppets and superhumans.
This week, the artists at Comics Should Be Good's The Line It Is Drawn are taking on Muppet mashups, picturing the felt performers in other comic book universes. Up top, Derek Langille gives us the Iron Muppet suits.
Caanan Grall (creator of the fantastic webcomic Max Overacts) nails David Aja's Hawkeye paneling style, replacing Pizza Dog with Rowlf:
Marco D'Alfonso poses Super Grover for a muppet version "Reign of the Supermen":
And Nick Perks paints the venerable Statler and Waldorf as the Golden Age Green Lantern and Flash:
