Finding a new roommate is complicated enough when the only people making the decision live inside the house. In this kooky animated short, a trio of oddball roommates have to let their sentient house in on the process.
Marie de Lapparent and Marie de Lapparent, another pair of animators from Ecole des Métiers du Cinéma d’Animation, made the stop-motion short 3+1, and it’s just plain fun. It’s unrepentantly silly as it skewers the roommate screening process and all of the ridiculous questions that go along with it. Plus, the characters are all such lovable weirdos.
