What the Statue of Liberty Looked Like in 1886

Thanks to some photoshop wizardry, we have a picture of what the Statue of Liberty looked like in her younger years. Which is to say, very penny like! But no matter what color her dress is, she’s still a beaut.

As you probably already know, Lady Liberty was made out of copper. But oxidation caused a green patina to cover the copper, which makes her look nothing like she once did. If you ask me though, I think she aged quite well. Check her out in her full glory:
