Here’s a different tactic from a company at CES. Just go straight for the real toys. The X-Cruise motorized skateboard comes in three models—the 7001A, 8001A and the pictured 9001A—that range from 100w motor with a 3.7-mile range and 130-pound weight limit, to a 450w motor with an 11-mile range and 250-pound weight limit. The lesser models just have a single speed stop/brake on the remote while the better models come with a variable-speed trigger. Prices range from $200-$400, but unfortunately, you won’t see them in the US until they find themselves a distributor. That’s pretty much the only reason these guys hit Vegas. Bummer, man!
