When Colin Nederkoorn of Houston, Texas decided to pledge $100 of his own money to anyone who could figure out how to boot Windows XP on an Intel Mac, he didn’t think it would take this long. But now here it is nearly two months later, the prize money has topped $12,000, and lo and behold, someone may have found the magic key to get XP going on an Intel Mac.

narf2006 has quite a lot of credibility on the WinXP-on-Mac forums, and has turned over his technique to Nederkoorn for review. The only proof we have so far is a set of photos that look like Windows XP running on what appears to be an Intel iMac. Could it be? No strangers to the glories of Photoshop, we ll believe it when we see it.
