Despite what previous studies have shown, cellphones may indeed be dangerous to your health. A British researcher says that while short term cellphone use (less than 10 years) is safe, the long term effects haven’t been looked at closely enough to say one way or another. In fact, the researcher says that cellphones could be the 21st century’s equivalent to cigarettes in terms of widespread health damage. As a result, a new study will look at the links (if any) between long term cellphone use and diseases like cancer and Alzheimer’s.
