I think it started from something called Gundam seed and Gundam 00, and all it did in the series was hop around and say "Haro!" all the time,

sorta like a pet rabbit?

I believe it's a Japanese reinvention of an old child's toy, complete with updated theme song: "Weebers wobber but they don't far down." Oh. Sorry. * dodging stones * Yeah, I'm going to hell for sure.

I believe thats harro from the orignal gundamn. I remember reading it in a manga I got for christmas years ago, and jesus I have a terrible memory.

It is a robot pet from the Gundam Seed series. It is a Japanese thing... something to do with "cute". I think it is awesome. Although I would never be caught dead with one.

That is Haro from the anime Gundam 00. The anime seems to indicate that Haro's "brother", a purple machine of the same type, and other robots like him, contain info about the "Celestial Being" project from the past.

I like it. I'd put my peter in it.

You guys are all too young! The Haro was one of the robot companion in the original Gundam comic series, the original RX-78 Gundam story.

Haro has been a humorous face of the Gundam franchise for about...30 years. Even after direct sequels, films, and spin-off shows, Haro still manages to show up. Sometimes it's annoying, but shit...I'd love a Haro collectible in my apartment.

In the Gundam cartoons, Haro is basically the mascot robot that hangs around the hero. Kinda like C3PO and R2D2, but rolly-pollier and much more squeakied voice than either of the two.

As for the real life Haro, well, they're toys, like the cartoon counterpart. Except it's less functional. By the end of the one of the series the Haro was part of, it could walk, talk, fly, project holograms, open its yap to reveal a fully functional PC, and generally worked as a Deus Ex Machina as needed.

And you ask me how I know this? If my icon ain't a damn giveaway, I don't know what is.

Gundam 00 season 1 (25 episodes) finished last week.
Haro is the robot that belongs to Lockon Stratos. And helps him control his Gundam.

Its from Gundman 00, though I don't think its supposed to have legs
and feet.
