Tymesa is/was a Spanish company that doesn’t appear to make products anymore. But for a spell in the 1950s, they cranked out beautiful fans such as this, with a design that’s as minimal and industrial as it is a safety hazard.
Obviously this has no business in a house with small children, but if you love design, how can you not love the wiry frame, the curving, tennis ball-like lines of the “grill” and the sky blue motor, which gives it a certain flair.
