Go old school with your iPod and blast these super-slick portable speakers around the playground. Speaker specs are pretty nice: 1-inch tweeters, two 3-inch mid-range drivers, a 4-inch subwoofer and a 4-inch passive radiator (?) and it runs on eight D batteries, just like the old timey boomboxes of yore.
Altec Lansing has been putting out some nice product lately, so there’s no reason to think this will be a clunker. Priced at about $249, seems like a nice way to get portable sound out of your iPod.
