I heard "developments in technology to produce this film" being thrown about when discussing Avatar, but what I'd completely failed to appreciate was how amazing and interesting some of them were. Far more than just improved 3D camera technology and extremely interesting!

The way they captured the facial expressions was brilliant and explains the natural emotion I'd never before witnessed
