[π] is a wonderful little website that “explores the musical rhythm within the first 100,000 digits of π.” The sequence of notes is surprisingly pleasant, and the little switcheroo between night and day whenever a one or a zero pops up in π’s irrational string of numerals is a fantastic touch. Go try it out for yourself – I’ve been working to its dulcet tones all morning.
