Fall in Love With BB-8 All Over Again With These Beautiful Paintings

With all the talk about how cute the porgs are in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, let’s not forget the original cute sequel trilogy character: BB-8.

He stars in the new book BB-8 On the Run by Drew Daywalt, with art by Matthew Myers. The story takes place before BB-8 meets Rey in The Force Awakens and is quite the adventure, told complete with beautiful illustrations.

Myers’ original paintings used in the book are currently on display at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, CA. It’ll be there until October 31 if you want to check it out in person, but here are just a few examples if you can’t.
